Offgrid Training (“the app”) is a workout tracker for iOS developed by Samuli Martikainen (“the developer”). The app is designed with privacy as a core principle. This Privacy Policy explains what data the app handles, how it is stored, and what rights you have.
Your workout and training data is stored locally on your device. The app does not collect, transmit, or share any personal or training data with anyone — including the developer.
What Data the App Stores
The app stores workout-related data that you create within the app. This may include:
- Exercises, including names, categories, and variations
- Workout logs, including sets, reps, weight, duration, distance, and RPE
- Workout templates
- Personal records and progress data
- App preferences and settings
All of this data is created by you and stored locally on your device. The developer has no access to this data.
Data Storage
All data created within the app is stored locally on your device using on-device storage. The app does not use remote servers, cloud databases, or any external storage services for your training data. Your training data never leaves your device unless you explicitly choose to export or transfer it using the app's built-in features.
No Account Required
The app does not require you to create an account, sign in, or provide any personal information such as your name, email address, or phone number. You can use the app fully without identifying yourself in any way.
No Cloud Sync
The app does not sync your training data to any cloud service. There is no server-side storage and no automatic data transfer between devices. Your training data exists only on the device where it was created, unless you manually export or transfer it.
No Advertising SDKs
The app does not include any advertising frameworks or SDKs. No ad networks have access to your data or your device through this app. The app does not display ads of any kind.
No Analytics or Tracking
The app does not use any analytics services, crash reporting tools, or third-party tracking technologies. No usage data, behavioral data, or device information is collected by the developer or transmitted for analytics purposes. Your activity within the app is not monitored or shared.
The app does not participate in any advertising tracking and does not use the App Tracking Transparency framework.
Third-Party Services
The app does not connect to any external servers or third-party services. It does not send or receive data over the network.
Data Export and Transfer
The app provides features that allow you to export your data, create backups, restore from backups, and transfer data between devices. When you use these features, you are in full control of where your data goes. The developer does not have access to your exported data.
Data Deletion
Since all data is stored locally on your device, you can delete any or all of your data at any time from within the app. Uninstalling the app will also remove all associated data from your device. The developer does not retain any copy of your data.
Children's Privacy
The app does not collect personal information from users, including children.
